As a mother, having an eternal perspective each day is what brings fulfillment. Wiping up spilled hot chocolate on a newly mopped floor, or playing dinosaurs with your two year old while the dirty dishes in your kitchen haunt you can be either fulfilling, or extremely frusterating, leaving you with an empty feeling. But you nailed it….”consistantly fulfilling the here and now demands, shapes your future” I LOVED your post, and am an avid fan when it comes to simplicity. This post is definately one of my favorites. I think doing your best…involves seeking the simple, and living in and with simplicity. Some may see it as a cop out, I see it as a tool to greatness. Thanks Rusty!

This seems even more relevant than when you first posted it (if that’s possible). Thanks for bringing it back!
