“I read the words, God turned the pages”

    Beautiful!

We are so blessed to have the Book of Mormon on the earth today. I hope that all will take the time to read and study its pages and pray for a personal witness of it’s truth. I have received that witness, and it has changed my life and the lives of my husband and children for great good. This beautiful book of scripture has touched my heart personally in more ways than I can express. It gives me deep and lasting peace. When the prophet Alma was entrusting the records to his son Helaman he explained that it was important to keep writing down the history of the people and the words of God – even thought it didn’t see very important or significant at that time. He gave this profound instruction:

“Now ye may suppose that this is foolishness in me; but behold I say unto you, that by small and simple things are great things brought to pass; and small means in many instances doth confound the wise. And the Lord God doth work by means to bring about his great and eternal purposes; and by very small means the Lord doth confound the wise and bringeth about the salvation of many souls. ” – Alma 37: 6-7

Very powerful video. I loved seeing the Hill Cumorah in the background. I have many wonderful memories of that area, and to hear the Prophet’s testimony was a wonderful bonus!

The Sacred Grove, nearby, where Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ appeared to Joseph Smith is indeed a sacred place. I know that many wonderful things took place in the area around Palmyra, NY. I would encourage all to visit those places and feel the Spirit for yourselves.

I truly love the Book of Mormon. Every time I read it, I just feel like my heart is being inflated, like I’m lighter than air. Such a special witness of Christ. Thanks for posting this.
